Our client, a leading retailer specializing in cutting-edge electronics, is looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused Senior Sales Associate to join their team in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti, NG . This role is integral to driving sales performance and delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your deep product knowledge and sales expertise to assist customers, demonstrate products, and close sales. You will also mentor junior sales staff and contribute to achieving store targets. This is a customer-facing role requiring consistent on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities:
Engage customers proactively, understand their needs, and recommend appropriate electronic products. Provide in-depth product information, features, and benefits, acting as a product expert. Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through effective selling techniques. Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system. Maintain product displays and ensure the sales floor is well-organized and visually appealing. Assist in inventory management, including receiving stock, stocking shelves, and conducting stock checks. Build and maintain strong customer relationships to foster repeat business and loyalty. Mentor and train new sales associates, sharing best practices and product knowledge. Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and product releases. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally and efficiently. Participate in store meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; tertiary education in a related field is an advantage. Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail sales, with a proven track record of exceeding sales goals, preferably in electronics. Extensive knowledge of consumer electronics products and technologies. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Proven ability to build rapport with customers and understand their needs. Strong sales acumen and persuasive abilities. Experience with POS systems and basic inventory management. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. A positive attitude and a passion for technology. Leadership potential and experience mentoring junior staff is highly desirable.
